A Heathen's Perspective

From politics to media, from music to spiritual matters, and from obscure issues to the latest hot button topics, comes the blabber from a true heathen, without regard to the breaking wind of socially-acceptable attitudes, yet with an almost sacred devotion to humor in the face of today's polarized, shout-down-your-opponents climate of fear and intimidation. Read Dean Velvel's Post or I'll Come Get Ya!

I love the way Mass. School of Law at Andover's Dean Velvel thinks. He never minces words, and the depth of his blog's posts is evident in each and every entry. The link below will magically move you to one of my Velvel faves from Wednesday, September 07, 2005:

Re: Baghdad And New Orleans; Dishonesty And Honesty; Incompetence And Competence: It’s All Interlinked

Read it once, read it twice. It's so very, very nice. I give it ten gallons of Resistol UP!

Thanks, Great North Crane, everyone, for stopping by. For those of you unaware of the wonders of Toadism, "chige" is the emotional expression of meaninglessness, and indeed high praise coming from a fellow Great Crane!

The author states his case well and I just happen to agree with everything
he says, with perhaps one exception. I don't think that Bush lacks
anything. He has everything ever wanted to play the part of a fool and was
just the implement needed to achieve the tyrants behind him goals. He
qualifies so well because as they know, He is a fool, devoid of any
redeeming qualities whatsoever. I am not sure if it's time for a third
party, but it's time to dump the whole of our government in the Boston
Harbor as our predecessors dumped the tea. Gawd help us that there is one
little tea bag that doesn't float. Happy Holy Rollover Monk.....ED

Waiting for your next installment Heathen. In the meantime, stay out of Rita's way. (And let us know that you made it safely.)
